Policies and Procedures

Confidentiality

My confidentiality clause is simple: Every individual I see has total confidentiality with me. My limitations on this are the same as any helping professional. Unless I am compelled by law, I will not share any information about you. The reasons I would be compelled by law are if you reveal something to me that indicates a child or elder has been harmed or may be harmed in any way. Another reason I could be compelled by law is if one of you subponeas me with a court order to produce information on you. However, I have very strict policies about this that you may read later in this document. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of my practice. This confidentiality extends to all forms of communication, including in-person sessions, phone calls, emails, and any other electronic or written correspondence.

Ethical Conduct

As a relationship coach, I am committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect. My mission is to empower individuals and couples to cultivate healthy, fulfilling relationships through open communication, mutual understanding, and personal growth. To ensure the trust and well-being of my clients, I adhere to the following principles:

1. Confidentiality

I respect the privacy of my clients and will protect all personal information shared during coaching sessions. Client information will only be disclosed with explicit consent or when required by law.

2. Non-Judgment and Respect

I provide a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for clients of all backgrounds. I honor the unique values, beliefs, and goals of each individual and couple.

3. Professional Boundaries

I maintain clear boundaries to ensure a professional and ethical relationship with all clients. I avoid conflicts of interest and any behavior that could compromise the coaching process.

4. Informed Consent

I ensure that clients fully understand the nature, scope, and limits of coaching before beginning the process. This includes outlining fees, confidentiality, and the distinction between coaching and therapy.

5. Commitment to Growth and Accountability

I encourage clients to take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions while supporting their journey toward growth and transformation. I also continually seek professional development to provide the best possible coaching experience.

6. Cultural Sensitivity and Inclusion

I honor and respect diversity in all its forms, ensuring that my coaching approach is sensitive and inclusive of different cultures, identities, and experiences.

7. Honesty and Transparency

I communicate openly and honestly with my clients, providing realistic guidance and feedback without making promises or guarantees of specific outcomes.

Goal Setting

Every three appointments, we will check in on the goals that you have established in our initial appointment. You should expect to see some progress within four to six hours of work with me. If there is no progress, there’s a problem. I will also be mindful of your goals and discussing them with you consistently. The whole point of this process is to facilitate change. It’s too expensive for you to continue trying something that isn’t working. So our goals will be specific, measurable, and we will check in on them frequently.

Session Structure

Appointments are generally scheduled in 50, 80, or 110 minute appointments. I usually reserve the final ten minutes of every hour to prepare for the next appointment. However, I am not rigid about this, and as the need requires, I will use the full hour of our time. I am usually scheduled back to back throughout the week, however, if i have an open hour and you request to go beyond the hour, you will be responsible for the next half hour of time. I do not pro rate time based on the minute. Each session will be focused directly on the challenges you have brought to my attention. I don’t waste time with fluff, and you should expect to feel that every moment of conversation has been used to help you toward your hoped for outcome.

Clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to do so will result in the client being charged the full session fee. Please note that as a relationship and intimacy coach, my services are intended to provide guidance, support, and educational resources. Coaching sessions are not a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice. I do not diagnose or treat mental health disorders or medical conditions. If you require therapeutic intervention or medical assistance, it is recommended to seek the help of a qualified professional in those respective fields.

Miscellaneous

By engaging in coaching services, the client agrees not to subpoena the relationship and intimacy coach in the case of a divorce or any legal proceedings. In the event that the client does subpoena the coach for records or appearance, the following fees will apply: - $2500 flat per diem, per day required for appearance. - $1000 flat fee for producing records or responding to a subpoena. These fees are to cover the coach's time, effort, and any associated legal expenses. Please note, if you decide to subpoena me, I will take every legal action possible to prevent myself from being compelled to break confidentiality.

By attending an initial appointment with me, I am assuming you have read these policies and procedures and consent to work with me.
